When you reach out, you speak with a call handler who takes down the basics. This person is not a repair expert and will not diagnose your home. Their job is to pass your details to the right place.
Then you speak with an independent provider in our network. The provider is a separate local business. They do the inspection, the quote and the work.
Expect simple questions. Where is the water? How did it start? Has it been stopped? How long has it been there? Is anyone at risk?
Think of it like a doctor's front desk. The questions help the right person prepare. Have photos handy if you can.
After the call, a provider may reach out to discuss next steps. Availability varies, so ask about timing directly.
First-timers often do not know what to ask. Here is a short list:
A good provider answers without rushing. If answers feel vague, ask again or call another provider.
You can safely move small furniture, lift rugs, open windows and take photos. That is about it.
Leave wet drywall, soaked insulation, standing water near wiring and anything that might hold mold to a pro. Moisture hides in walls, like a stain spreading under paint. Dry the whole house, not just what you can see.
A referral does not lock you in. You can say no, ask for another quote or take time to think. Costs vary by job, so get any quote in writing before you agree.
We never make decisions about your home. We simply help you find someone to talk to.
If water is in your home now, make the call. If you want to think first, ask for an estimate.
Or start by sharing a few details.
